Today, NFTs have disrupted the digital world and industries from gaming to art to investing. But non-fungible tokens are yet to see their full potential, with near-endless applications in almost all Industries.

Blockchain technology and NFTs have massive potential for the gaming industry and games like Epiko Regal are making waves with unique play-to-earn (P2E) models which are making gamers real money. Increasing its popularity with time, particularly in developing countries because who doesn’t want to make money playing video games?

Epiko NFTs are a major part of the entire Epiko ecosystem with interoperability with other products developed by Wharf Street Studios Ltd, combining NFTs, Games, and the Metaverse, which offers many mythological characters, heroes, their stories, and legends from around the world complemented with play-to-earn gamification. The Epiko Ecosystem is consist of Epiko Regal, Epiko.market, Epikoverse, Epiko Valley, Epiko Merchandise, and $EPIKO Token, which will all be completely decentralized and work independently with the help of the global community.

Soon we will be introducing Morph System or Morphing – An additional economic system to Epiko NFTs to upgrade them to a new variant by combining them with 5 Elements of Nature – Air, Earth, Energy, Water, and Fire. This will get users a New NFT variant different in various aspects. Morphing will lead to changes in appearance, and weapons along with their power enhancements. This feature to evolve, and alters the character, will leave users with an enhanced experience in the ecosystem.

Morphing will be another entertaining and interesting aspect of the ecosystem, which the users will carry out on the Epiko.market, which will be a second phase of the Marketplace, with changes in UI/UX and Smart contract. This will allow users to get a new variant that will be higher in value by burning the First NFTs & the element with which they are fused. Due to their scarcity, transferability, and proof of ownership, users can see their purchases as an investment with potential for future returns, rather than just a fun addition to regular gameplay. The supply of each Element - Air, Earth, Energy, Water, and Fire, will be limited in numbers depending upon the NFT supply of Characters.

In Simple terms, Morphing will be a feature for users to enhance NFTs via the morphing process and upgrading to a better physical form. Character morphing will determine the physical appearance of the character in alignment with the element with which they are fused, changing their number of traits based on those elements.

Variations in Morphing

The Morphing section is the place where the users can evolve, and upgrade their avatars and characters unleashing their true power. To morph a character, players require the elements and the character NFTs so that it can be evolved further. There will be 2 stages in this system: Fusion & Morphing.

Stage 1 – Fusion

Fusion will be the first stage, once the users have NFTs of the Character and the Element with which they want to fuse the character. At this Stage Character & Element will be fused together evolving the NFT into a New Variant. For example, below you can see Angad's character morphing with each element and evolving into a new variant with an upgraded overall look.

Stage 2 – Morphing

This is the Second or last Stage in which the Character will evolve to the Ultimate variant, for which the user needs all 5 Fused Variants of the character which will together Morph giving the Most powerful version of the Character. As shown in the below image.

Earn with Epiko NFTs

In the Ecosystem, users win prizes for free through participating in battles & various fun engaging activities. Players earn NFTs and cryptocurrency which can be sold on a secondary market for real money but the world goes beyond play-to-earn, and it has implications far beyond traditional gaming.

Metaverse - A digitally shared space that combines virtual and physical reality, the next stage for the internet. With Epikoverse we plan to become a realm of immersive mystical metaverse full of fun activities, puzzles, and missions with geo-locations virtual rooms, portals in which users will be able to roam with their choice of avatars for entertainment, and social interaction. And, these Epiko NFTs will be the key to having a unique experience. As NFTs will also allow users to access the metaverse with their chosen Avatar. And just like in the real world, your land is valuable not just because of its utility for you, but because of its scarcity and potential utility to other people. This means the more interest in an area, the more valuable property in that area becomes. Things like location, square footage, and market trends affect the value of properties and because you own the property, you can sell it at a profit and transfer ownership to someone else. Similarly, Epiko NFTs supply will be limited in numbers to drive the value of assets with scarcity and massive utility within the ecosystem and outside, having a unique economic system that can grow within it.
